Stay Mat™ is an asphaltic based primer asphalt tack coat SS-1h that helps a new asphalt layer, fill or patch material adhere better to existing and oxidized older pavement. Use Stay Mat to bind the hot mix asphalt surface layer to the binder layer or apply to the saw cut edges of your patch area before replacing with new asphalt. Stay Mat SS-1h tack coat will aid in your maintenance events and promote adhesion of sealants and trowelable materials to asphalt surfaces. Our asphalt tack coat is like black liquid silk and pumps smoothly through sprayers and cleans up well.

SURFACE PREPARATION: Surface must be clean, dry and free of all dirt dust and debris.
APPLICATION: Mix well before use. Stay Mat Tack Coat can be applied with common sprayer, broom, mop or squeegee. Stay Mat will set up under good conditions within 30 minutes depending on weather and material coating thickness. Do not use if rain is imminent, when surface is wet or when temperature is below 50°F.

CAUTION: KEEP FROM FREEZING. Wash tools in water. Use suitable paint thinner if material has dried. Do not store in direct sunlight or where temperature exceeds 100°F. Container should be closed when not in use. Keep out of the reach of children. Exterior use only.
